C. Bechstein 'Lion's Head' Salon Flugel c1878

Rosewood cabinet raised on turned and facetted legs with an ornate fretwork music desk and very unusual mounted lion's heads on the cheeks. Richard Wagner owned a similarly ornamented Bechstein.

88 note keyboard with ivory naturals and ebony accidentals.

Restored in 1993.

Tuned to concert pitch and in excellent playing order.
